Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient information and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff
- Assist with the coordination of patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner is a plus
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques is beneficial
- Experience in sterile processing techniques is desired
- Ability to work with patients with special needs or disabilities
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its use is a plus
- Knowledge of procedures such as gastric lavage and airway management is advantageous
