Orthopaedic Medical Assistant

Fellowship trained Orthopaedic hand surgeon looking for an experienced clinical professional that can become integral team member that helps facilitate clinical and surgical efficiencies in a physician practice setting.
Candidate must be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
Leadership qualities must be demonstrated with previous employment experience.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high clinical volumes.
*Qualifications*: - Applicant must be a certified medical assistant or licensed practical nurse in the state of Louisiana -Must possess at least 2 years of work experience in clinic setting with a working knowledge of electronic medical record documentation and practice management software.
-Demonstrates remarkable communication skills and facilitates teamwork with a positive attitude.
-Must be self-directed and goal oriented in order to promote clinical and surgical efficiencies.
*Job Duties*: - Assists medical providers with collecting patient data for various Orthopaedic conditions and ailments.
-Collects accurate vital signs during patient visits.
-Schedules and provides data to multiple facilities for scheduling while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
-Communicates pertinent patient data to all members of the team.
-Records all data into the patient chart using the electronic medical record.
-Completes other assigned duties as needed by providers.
-Gathers and records quality measure data for positive patient outcomes - Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.
