Duties and Responsibilities:
• Foster and enhance business relationships in various industries to enhance the workforce in the region.
• Point of contact for assigned courses and programs.
Responsibilities included, but are not limited to, collaborating with deans, instructors, industry, and college outreach coordinator in designing program curriculum; responding to program inquiries; recruiting and retaining students; generating interest from business to hire; etc.
• Outreach
o Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional materials about training opportunities including updates to Fletcher website; placement of announcements on social media and relevant websites; and photo opportunities.
o Assist in recruiting for customized training.
o Participate in job fairs, career days, etc.
• Assist Academic Deans in an administrative capacity.
• Develop and maintain database of workforce training programs offered.
• Coordinate the collection and compilation of information from vendors, training providers and instructors.
• Partner with enrollment team for entering training programs into LA Workforce System (ETPL) for approval of State funding.
• Serve as a reference; ensure that policies, procedures, programs, etc.
are communicated and adhered to; answer questions or refer staff and students to appropriate resource.
• Responsible for helping locate potential instructors.
• Responsible for initiation of MOU’s, contracts, and professional agreements related to workforce and academic programs.
• Process and communicate all incoming program information.
• Retain records, inventory, requisitions, and other documentation regarding the areas of responsibility.
• Maintain files, answer telephones, order equipment and supplies, and maintain the calendar of appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned not mentioned above.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree; Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted with a related Associate’s Degree and five (5) years applicable experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, computer, oral and written communication skills.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
